Options menu with display, accessibility and sound settings.
- New OPTIONS menu, in the main menu and in the pause menu (Escape goes back). Everything takes effect immediately and is saved in the browser (
raycion.opt). It can be used entirely with a controller. - Display:
- Damage numbers: Off, Your hits, or damage taken as well (hull red, shield cyan, repair green). Damage over time, such as lasers or burning, adds up into one number per target; big hits appear larger and in amber. The scene reads the damage off the health values themselves, so the online guest sees the numbers too.
- Enemy health: Off, Only when damaged, Default (as before), With numbers.
- Hull and shield on the ship: two narrow bars below the ship, optionally with numbers.
- Aim cone in Orbit: on or off.
- Graphics: Glow and effects. Both already existed in the code but no longer had a switch.
- Accessibility:
- Screen shake: Off, Weak, Full.
- Reduced flashes and flicker: dampens explosion flashes, the beat flash in Track and the red hit border.
- High-contrast enemy projectiles: a dark halo and a white outline around every enemy projectile.
- Sound: Master, Music (synth, loops and your own music track run through a shared music bus) and Effects, each in steps of ten. Plus Mute.
- Data: The anonymous flight data can be switched on and off here as well.
