New control mode on phones: tilt. Your phone becomes the stick. Tilt left or right to steer sideways, forward or back to move up or down, analog like a controller stick. Nothing happens below 2.5°, and from 16° the ship flies at full power. The way you hold the phone at the start and after every pause counts as the center, so you can hold it however you like. In landscape the axes swap to match. Tapping free space holds focus, and the round buttons stay. Switch it on in the pause menu under CONTROLS, which cycles Stick → Tilt → Finger follows. On an iPhone the browser asks once for permission to use the motion sensors. If a device reports no orientation data, it stays on “Finger follows” with a note.
Fixed: flying into a black world. The menu is HTML and usable right away, while Phaser loads the game graphics behind it. If you pressed PLAY before they were done, you started in a black world with only the HUD and the clock stuck at 0:00. Now the start waits with a “LOADING GRAPHICS” screen and a progress bar, and continues on its own once everything is there. Escape takes you back.
