Co-op: companions now belong to both players. Boons are shared between both ships, but companions used to all orbit player 1 — player 2 got nothing from the satellites, even though they belonged to them just as much. Now they’re split up:
- Ion Satellites and Drone Swarm alternate between both ships (with an odd number, player 1 gets the extra one)
- Minefield surrounds each ship, but at 60 % damage each — together slightly more than one, but spread out
- Chain Lightning jumps from whichever ship in turn
- Ion Trail: each ship leaves its own trail
If a ship is down as a wreck, its companions keep working for the other player.
Rejoining keeps your ship. A player 2 who leaves (controller disconnected) and rejoins the same run flies on with their weapons, levels, path, hull and shield intact — until now they started back at the Pulse Gun on its base level.
A stats bar for both players. The skill tree now shows a block for player 2 (weapon, level, DPS, damage, fire rate) below player 1’s numbers, in their color.
Small things:
- The skill tree’s header (title, tabs, skill points) now wraps on narrow screens; below about 520 px it used to overflow the edge and stretch the whole window wider.
- The “On the ship” preview from 0.92.1 quoted DPS across the whole run, while the bar above it quoted single-target DPS — two different numbers for the same word. Both now show “DPS · single target.”
