- Explosions now shake based on size. A small swarmling twitches, a fortress lurches, and a guardian hits like a real impact. Before, even a small fighter shook the screen by nearly 2 px, as a random jump every frame — now it’s a smooth motion with about twice the reach. In Orbit, distance matters: something bursting at the edge of the screen barely shakes the view at all. Rocks shake half as hard.
- Controller input now mutes the mouse (solo play). In Orbit, the ship’s nose used to point at the motionless mouse cursor as soon as you let go of the right stick, provided you’d flown with keyboard keys at some point that run; an accidental right-click would even toggle focus mode. Now any controller input takes the mouse out of play until it’s actually moved (jitter under 6 px doesn’t count), and the cursor disappears over the play area. This doesn’t apply in co-op, where the mouse and the controller belong to different players.
