Trading posts are now real 3D wheels. Instead of a tinted debris sprite, Orbit now shows a ring with a window band, three struts, a spindle of window wreaths and a docking airlock in warning colors. The radius is chosen so the hole in the wheel measures exactly the 70 pixels at which docking triggers — you visibly fly into it instead of sticking to a spot. The docking circle now also sits at 70 instead of 58, matching the rule that actually applies. Only posts currently visible get a mesh, and there are five of them in this system.
New: the model forge. Technical objects are built from rings, lathed shapes and boxes — exactly the kind of thing you can write as a recipe in code instead of modeling in a 3D program: reproducible, versionable, changed in seconds, with the triangle count fixed in advance instead of cut down afterward. The texture is painted right along with it, as an atlas of four fields (sheet metal, glow windows, warning stripes, metal), matching the neon style. The trading post comes in at 536 triangles and a 16 KB texture.
