Accept jobs, earn tokens, install modules. The two remaining steps of the to-do list.
Accept jobs, earn tokens, install modules. The two remaining steps of the to-do list.
- Accept jobs at a station’s job board, only in the zone you’re currently in. Everything still counts toward securing the zone even without accepting — but only an accepted job pays out a token on completion. The target arrow jumps to that job once you accept it.
- Tokens are the fourth currency, with a clear source and a clear sink: they only come from accepted jobs and only buy ship modules. Ore stays the currency for everything consumable.
- Modules are available at every trading post until installed: System Map (1 token), Detection — the edge arrows to locations (1 token), Long-Range Detection — map and detection reach one and a half times as far, even inside the jamming nebula (2 tokens). The Radio Receiver is standard equipment, or you’d never see any jobs.
- That means a flight now starts without a map and without location arrows. The first accepted job buys the map. That’s intentional, and the clearest change in this version — if it feels too harsh, speak up, and the map goes back to being standard equipment.
